Based in the heart of Yarm, our shelves are stacked with vintage, retro, and second-hand football shirts from around the globe. Serie A screamers. Lower league cult heroes. World Cup legends. Forgotten away kits from clubs that don’t even exist anymore. If it’s got a story, it belongs here.
This is the place for collectors, purists, old-school fans and the new generation of kit-heads.
We don’t sell online. You’ve got to step through the door and feel it for yourself. OUR STORY
Ultra Football Shirts started with me and my daughter Eliza and a shared love of football.
We’re both big Boro fans and have spent years going to games, home and away, building up a collection of shirts along the way. What started as a personal collection slowly turned into something much bigger. Every shirt had a story behind it, and we found ourselves constantly adding more.
At some point it stopped feeling like just a hobby and started to feel like something we could turn into a proper space for other people to enjoy too.
In March 2025, we came across the right unit in Yarm and decided to go for it. From the beginning, the idea was always to have a physical shop where people could come in, have a look around and talk football. That’s why we made the decision early on not to sell online. For us, it’s about the experience as much as the shirts themselves.
The shop has become a place people genuinely enjoy coming into. Some are collectors, some are just curious, but everyone has a story or a memory tied to a shirt. Kids especially love it, and the retro PlayStation 2 with old FIFA games has become a bit of a feature.
It’s very much a family-run place. My wife Emma works in the shop, and Hayden and Zoe help out on weekends, so there’s always a familiar face behind the counter.
Since opening, we’ve sold hundreds of shirts to people locally and built something we’re really proud of. It’s more than just a shop, it’s somewhere people can come, take their time and enjoy being around football.

We’re always looking to buy shirts.
If you’ve got anything you’re thinking of selling, whether it’s one shirt or a full collection, bring it into the shop and we’ll happily take a look. We’re especially interested in retro and rarer pieces, but we’re always open to seeing what people have.
We try to offer fair prices based on condition, rarity and demand, but as a small independent shop we do need to leave some margin when we resell.
What we can offer is a straightforward, hassle-free way to sell your shirts without the time and uncertainty of listing them online.
